Deadline Approaching for Nominations for 2023 STEER Eagle Ford Excellence Awards

Wednesday, August 23 is the deadline for nominations for the 2023 South Texas Energy and Economic Roundtable (STEER) Eagle Ford Excellence Awards, which honor the companies, organizations and partnerships that are working with the oil and natural gas industry to keep South Texas strong through investments in innovation and technology, while maintaining high environmental standards and providing for the communities where they operate. Nominations can be submitted online here.

“Oil and natural gas companies in the Eagle Ford Shale play an essential role in developing technologies and solutions that are meeting ever-growing demand for reliable, affordable energy while maintaining the world’s most stringent environmental standards,” said Todd Staples, President of the Texas Oil & Gas Association. “Their efforts are directly responsible for a cleaner environment, stronger communities and a better future for all Texans, and these awards are an opportunity to recognize their tremendous contributions to this region and the nation.”

Award categories include:

Community and Social Investment, which recognizes both a small and a large organization that are working with communities to make a positive impact to the social fabric of the local area.

Environmental Stewardship, which recognizes both a small and a large organization that are making it their duty to preserve the environment in a responsible manner.

Neighborhood Impression, which honors one or multiple organizations that have implemented a community project demonstrating the positive impression of the industry on the community.
