Texas’ oldest and largest oil and natural gas trade association hosted leaders shaping state, national, and global energy agendas, and recognized two industry titans with TXOGA’s Distinguished Service Award

SAN ANTONIO, Texas – This week, on October 28 and 29, the Texas Oil & Gas Association (TXOGA) hosted the Lone Star Energy Forum in San Antonio, Texas.
The Lone Star Energy Forum featured several industry leaders shaping state, national, and global energy agendas, giving participants an opportunity to hear directly from them on the latest economic, legislative, and political perspectives within the Texas oil and natural gas industry.
“The Lone Star Energy Forum brings together leaders from every sector of our industry to focus on what comes next for Texas energy. At a time of global instability, Texas operators are supplying America and our allies with the energy resources modern life depends on. We thank the men and women of Texas’ energy industry who joined us in San Antonio this week,” said TXOGA President Todd Staples.
NBA legend David Robinson, who played for the San Antonio Spurs from 1989 to 2003, joined TXOGA President Todd Staples for a fireside chat and discussed leadership in business and sports.
The Forum featured Ezra Yacob, Chairman and CEO of EOG Resources; Laura Lane, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer of Chevron; Travis Beltz, Vice President of Marathon Petroleum’s Galveston Bay Refinery; and Todd Tanory, Senior Vice President of Midstream Operations at Phillips 66, along with Texas State Senator Pete Flores and Texas State Representative Cody Vasut.

This year marks the 90th anniversary of TXOGA’s Distinguished Service Award, and we congratulate this year’s recipients, Tom Jorden and Harold Hamm. Each of these titans has demonstrated a commitment to propelling the industry forward, and their actions have made America more energy secure, providing abundant energy for all consumers.
