The oil and natural gas industry is the driving force of innovation for all types of energy sources, while keeping the world safe with cleaner burning, affordable power fuels today.  In the United States, carbon emissions are near 20-year lows, our dependence on foreign oil is at a 45-year low, and Americans are benefiting from lower energy costs and millions of jobs – all because of domestic oil and natural gas production.  It is baffling to see a group of elected officials distort information to attack the very industry that keeps this nation strong, our environment safe and our citizens secure.
