STEER Celebrates Winners of 13th Annual Eagle Ford Excellence Awards

SAN ANTONIO – Today, the South Texas Energy & Economic Roundtable (STEER) hosted an awards luncheon honoring the winners of the 13th Annual Eagle Ford Excellence Awards: the San Antonio Food Bank, South Texas Recovery Foundation, Repsol, CERA Solutions, EOG Resources, and Miss Western Week Scholarship Program.

The Eagle Ford Excellence Awards honor companies and organizations working in or with the oil and natural gas industry for their diligent efforts in protecting the environment, developing innovative technologies, making safety a top priority and giving back to the communities they serve.

“The partnership between energy and community has never been stronger in South Texas,” said Todd Staples, president of the Texas Oil & Gas Association. “The work being done in the Eagle Ford Shale not only powers modern life but also directly funds our schools, invests in our communities, and creates opportunity for thousands of Texans. We are proud to honor this year’s Eagle Ford Excellence Award recipients, who are shining examples of constant innovation, community engagement and environmental commitment at work.”
