From a highly competitive field of applicants, these six stood out for technology that’s already moving the needle on efficiency, safety, emissions reduction, and produced water management across the Texas oil and natural gas industry.

Aquafortus has developed a proprietary technology for treating high-salinity produced water, with a 2,000 bpd field research facility already running in the Permian Basin. The company is scaling toward commercial deployment in 2027.
Baker Hughes
Baker Hughes brings its Onshore Composite Pipe portfolio offering flexible, corrosion-resistant alternatives to traditional steel pipe. The systems are engineered to cut installation time, reduce field labor, and extend asset life in oil and natural gas operations.
NOV
NOV is a global technology and equipment provider spanning drilling, well construction, and production, with growing capabilities in rig automation, managed pressure drilling, and data-driven performance systems. Its solutions help operators improve uptime and manage increasingly complex wellsite environments across the energy value chain.
PipeSense
PipeSense combines sensor technology and data analytics to help pipeline operators detect leaks earlier and respond faster. Its real-time monitoring platform strengthens pipeline safety, environmental stewardship, and regulatory compliance.
Safety Radar
Founded by safety professionals, Safety Radar’s AI-powered platform, SAFE AI, helps organizations collect field safety data and flag risk before incidents occur. The company is currently deployed with major operators across North America.
UES Professional Solutions
UES Professional Solutions is a Houston-based environmental consulting and engineering firm offering services from initial site assessment through remediation and site closure. Formerly InControl Technologies, the firm joined the UES family in December 2023, pairing Texas expertise with national resources.
