AUSTIN – Industry-led initiative doubles participation in first year

The following can be attributed to Todd Staples, president of the Texas Oil & Gas Association:

“The Environmental Partnership was formed to ensure that the United States oil and natural gas industry, a global energy leader, continues to work collaboratively to reduce its environmental footprint, while safely and responsibly growing energy production. The Partnership has much to be proud of on its first anniversary, with participation by oil and natural gas producers doubling since the Partnership’s inception.  Best practices like those advanced by the Partnership will contribute to continued progress in emission reductions from oil and natural gas systems.  TXOGA is proud of the Texas producers who, through the Environmental Partnership, have committed to continuously learning about the latest industry innovations and best practices that are helping to secure our economy, our environment and our future.”
