TXOGA’s MEMBERSHIP GROWS AGAIN IN 2004

The membership of Texas Oil & Gas Association (TXOGA) is strong and growing, evidenced by yet another annual increase in Association membership for 2004.  This outcome continues a trend established over ten years ago – a trend reflecting a net increase in total members for each year during that period.

“We are very pleased with the progress we have made in increasing our membership every year,” says Rob Looney, Association President.  “A lot of credit goes to Bill Ennis, who heads up our membership function and works hard to maintain our progress and Jim Sierra, who manages our excellent Worker’s Comp program – a major membership incentive for our smaller members. We are also proud of the diversity of our new members.  The diversity of this new group once again bears out TXOGA’s stated mission to represent a united industry.”

The increase in membership further assures TXOGA’s position as the largest oil & gas trade organization in the state and one of the largest in the country.  TXOGA is also the oldest organization representing petroleum interests in the state.
