Relating to an exemption from ad valorem taxation of a portion of the appraised value of the residence homesteads of military serviemembers who are serving on active duty.
(Homestead exemption for active-duty military)
Contingent upon passage and voter approval of a constitutional amendment, adds an additional $3,000 homestead exemption for members of the armed forces and for national guard and reservists that are serving in active duty under an order of the President.
